San Francisco is where it all started. As my first year at Minerva University, this city became the foundation for everything that followed. Immersed in the heart of Silicon Valley, I learned to think like a builder — questioning assumptions, iterating fast, and finding opportunity where others saw uncertainty. Between classes in market strategy and financial modeling, I found myself drawn to the energy of the city itself: the fog rolling over the Golden Gate, late-night conversations in the Mission, and the relentless optimism of a place that believes anything can be built from nothing.

  Golden Gate at Night — Capturing the bridge lit up against the fog at midnight — one of my first shots that made me realize filmmaking was more than a hobby.

  NSLC at UC Berkeley — Returning to the Bay Area to lead 100+ high school students through business simulations, pitch coaching, and site visits to SAP, Cloudflare, and Oracle Park.

Taipei is home. But living here through Minerva’s lens — showing friends from around the world the night markets, the mountain trails, the quiet temples — made me see my own city with completely new eyes. This is also where my entrepreneurial journey began, from flipping sneakers in high school to navigating the volatile world of Web3 trading. Taipei taught me that home isn’t just a place you’re from; it’s a place you keep discovering.

  Night Market Tours — Taking my Minerva friends through Shilin Night Market for the first time, watching them try stinky tofu and bubble tea — seeing Taipei through their amazement.

  First NFT Trade — The rush of my first successful NFT flip in 2022, sitting in my childhood bedroom, realizing the internet had made the world borderless.

  House of Dream — Standing in front of an entire elementary school, sharing my life story and watching kids’ eyes light up with curiosity about the world beyond Taiwan.

Seoul reconnected me to a side of myself I had overlooked. As a Korean-born Taiwanese, this city gave me the chance to explore my other root — the language, the food, the culture I’d grown up adjacent to but never fully immersed in. Beyond the personal, Seoul became a professional proving ground: interning at Lim International, I dove into EU market expansion strategy and cross-functional brand operations. The late nights in the local neighborhoods and early mornings at Namsan Tower bookended days of real business strategy work.

  Lim International Pitch — Presenting my EU market entry analysis to the leadership team — my first time delivering strategic recommendations in a professional setting.

  Han River at Sunset — Sitting by the Han River with friends, eating chicken and drinking soju, and realizing Seoul had become my second home without me noticing.

Buenos Aires moves to its own rhythm, and it took me a while to find mine within it. Between tango halls and Sunday asados, I discovered a city that values presence over productivity — a radical shift from the pace of San Francisco and Seoul. This became the city where my filmmaking matured: shooting short films, travel vlogs, and video postcards across Patagonia, Bariloche, and the streets of Palermo. Buenos Aires taught me that the best stories come when you stop chasing them and let them come to you.

  Shooting "Infidelity" — Directing my short film in Buenos Aires — coordinating actors, locations, and a tiny crew across the city. The most ambitious creative project of my life so far.

  Patagonia Road Trip — Four friends, one rental car, the endless Ruta 40 stretching toward El Chaltén. The kind of trip that changes how you see distance and time.

  La Boca Golden Hour — Capturing the colorful houses of La Boca during golden hour, learning that the best light is always the one you almost missed.

Berlin feels like a city built for reinvention. Every scarred facade and repurposed warehouse tells the story of a place that has torn itself down and rebuilt — not once, but many times. As a future rotation, Berlin represents the next chapter: a chance to challenge my own structures, embrace creative discomfort, and learn from a city where art and history collide on every street corner. I’m looking forward to discovering what Berlin will teach me about storytelling, identity, and the courage to start over.
